The Watertown Public Library has a variety of book clubs to fit the diverse interests of readers. Registration is not required for any of our book clubs. Visitors who are interested in listening and learning are always welcome.
Bookworms Book Club
Meets the second Monday of each month at the Senior Center (514 S. First St.) at 1:00 pm. This group reads a variety of genres, but is a great choice for fans of historical and literary fiction.
Murder They Read Book Club
Meets the second Wednesday of each month at the library at 6:00 pm. This group reads thrillers, mystery or horror books.
Once Upon a Romance Book Club
Meets the third Wednesday of each month at the library at 6:00 pm. This group reads books that fall into the many subcategories of the romance genre (examples include romantasy, historical romance and contemporary romance).
Bookies Book Club
Meets the last Wednesday of each month at the library at 6:00 pm. This group reads a variety of genres, but is a great choice for those who want to broaden their horizons and try a little bit of everything.
Silent Book Club
Meets the last Tuesday of each month at the library at 6:00 pm. This is a non-traditional book club and is great for introverts who are looking to read in community with others. The group spends the hour reading silently together.
