There are several areas of the library you can settle in to read, study or just relax.

Reading Area

Comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the building that offer comfortable places to curl up with a great book. Find one and stay as long as you’d like!

Fireplaces

Two gas fireplaces are located on the second floor. One is from the original Carnegie Library and one was built during the 2022 expansion. Both are great places to read, relax or visit with friends.

A great cup of coffee can be purchased for $2 from the Friends Coffee Bar. Pay with cash or Venmo at the Circulation Desk to receive your cup. The money you spend goes back to support Friends.

Study Rooms

The library has 6 first-come, first-serve study rooms. If you need a quiet space to work or study, come see if these rooms are available. There is no time limit on the rooms. TV screens allow you to connect your laptop to make group work easier.

This corner of the library was donated by local family farms. A slideshow highlighting local agriculture and custom made barnwood wall paneling make this a unique area to sit and relax.
