2020 is an election year. Be sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision and have all the important dates marked on your calendar. 

Dates to remember:

  • October 14 – Deadline to register by mail or online.
  • October 20 through November 1 – In-person absentee voting. Office hours may vary by municipality. Note: The City of Watertown is holding in-person absentee voting on weekdays only, October 20-30. The hours are October 20-23, 8 am-4:30 pm; October 26-30, 8 am-5:30 pm. 
  • October 29 – Deadline to request an absentee ballot (regular and permanent overseas voters)
  • October 30 – Deadline to register in person at the municipal clerk’s office AND deadline to request absentee ballot (indefinitely confined voter).
