Internet Tutoring
Learn the basics of using the Internet or improve your searching skills with individual tutoring at the library. Please call Dan Malosh at (920) 262-4090, ext. 13 to make an appointment. Tutoring sessions usually take an hour and are available Monday - Friday anytime between 9am to 5pm depending on availability.

With more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases, Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the United States Census; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; passenger lists and more.
...provides access to magazine and newspaper articles for Wisconsin residents at their library and home.
...includes: Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, Nueva enciclopedia Cumbre en linea, The New Book of Popular Science, and Lands and Peoples. Grolier Online requires you to register. After registration, your account will be active the next business day.
...offers census data, family records and local histories. This collection assembles every extant U.S. federal census, banking and military records, genealogies, local histories, primary source materials, and genealogical and local history serials. Please enter your Watertown Library card number at the Heritage Quest web site.
...offers a wide array of practice tests including: ASVAB, GED, ACT, SAT, GRE, LSAT, GMAT, MCAT, Civil Service, Law Enforcement, U.S. Citizenship, and reading, writing, and math tests. To use on your own computer just type in your Watertown Library card number (without spaces between the numbers) and set up a password with Library Express.

To use netLibrary on your own computer, you must first create an account at a computer in the Watertown Public Library. Once created, you can use your account to log in from any computer with Internet access. Please come to the reference desk at the library to create your account with netLibrary.
...allows you to access/download digital audio books, videos, and music. To acquire digital items you need both your library card number and your pin. Also, remember to select "Mid-Wisconsin Library System" when you sign in.
...allows you to search over 14 million U.S. businesses and over 210 million U.S. residents. To use on your own computer, just type in your Watertown Library card number on the ReferenceUSA page.
